KTS project aims to design, develop and validate a serious game that will provide medical students and (novel) surgeons with innovative ICT-based psychomotor MIS training. The KTS serious game will be based upon previous and extensive experience in training and learning models for surgeons, supported by a box-trainer, enhancing the surgical skills training process through ICT. It is the consortium’s belief that this objective is of high importance within current training curricula in MIS all over EU as it fills the gap of remote psychomotor training.
Technology
The game implemented will support both Client side and server side development. The Client Side will be based on Unity Game Engine and The Server Side is based on Concurrent Functional Programing Implementation with Scala.
